I need a vacation. Seriously. I miss Columbus, I miss my friends in Columbus. I miss Boston, I miss my (few remaining) friends in Boston, and my (many) Boston friends in New York City. I like DC, but I sort of need to get away from this whole law school thing, even if its just for the week. As we get closer and closer to the end of the semester everyone's stress levels are beginning to rise, and its not fun. I don't like having to compete against people, and more importantly, I don't like people competing against me. (I know that sounds like the same thing. What I mean is, honestly, I don't put too much stock into what other people at GW are doing. I know that I need to do better than people in theory, but in reality I'm not even remotely going out of my way to do so. I'm doing my thing and if its good enough, its good enough. I wish that other people could do that too.)

Here is a list of things I want to do that are not law school related:
1. Go see a movie.
2. Read a non-law school related book.
3. Have a conversation with one of my law school friends about something non-law school, so that I can begin to get a glimpse of who these people were before they came here and were absorbed by law school.
4. Bake a pumpkin pie.
5. Spend one day doing WHATEVER I want to and not feel guilty about it afterwards.
6. Go to museums. All of them. Again.
7. Start running again so that I can get back into shape...also it will give me something to do for a while each day that isn't law school related.

I don't know. I really like law school, but right now I'm just tired and stressed. I need to recharge my brain.
